NOTE: Many Asian helmets look a lot alike. Especially on the older helmets or on helmets with missing nametags, it is sometimes hard to tell if it's Chinese, Korean or Japanse. So, it could well be that we made a mistake or two. Make sure to check the other countries mentioned as well.

Bo On Diving Equipment Company

The Chinese company Bo On only sold diving equipment but did not produce it. They put their nametags on Korean helmets. Bo On is no longer in business.

Very nice Korean 4 light. It  features a telephone facility.

Nametag from this helmet is the same as on the tinned one above. 
It says (in Chinese) BO ON company.

Busan Diving Apparatus company

Busan tinned 12 bolt helmet. The Busan Diving apparatus company is no longer in business.

Busan diving helmet, produced around 1950. 
Look at the typical shape of the bonnet. 
It looks more like a Swedish hat. 

Chang Jin

The Chang Jin Diving Equipment company from Inchon is one of the oldest manufacturers in Korea. They still have old and new helmets available. Contact mister S.J. Park at divinghelmet@yahoo.co.kr if you are interested.
