Remarks: A rare survivor of WW2 as after the War it was a condition that all blades of knifes exceeding 4 inches (100mm) were to be cropped or destroyed hence very few of these Japanese knives survived. Japan was the country which pioneered the development of the stainless steel knife blade. |
